Maitreyee, with a background in regulatory and pharmaceuticals found her passion in creating stories for her daughter. She founded Elfie India with the idea to showcase Indian treasures, and the inherent Indian-ness to the world. Her focus is to create stories around wildlife, and stories with a Marathi touch for her fellow diaspora around the world.

Ruei Shah is an illustrator and visual artist currently based in Oklahoma City. Her focus is to visualise narratives, unravel the relationship between motifs and patterns and create conceptual artwork.

Artist statement: “Inspiration can be found in the most unexpected ways, and I am always eager to learn and tackle challenges. My passion for creating illustrations reflects in the craft, the crux of which is formed from my abundant love for nature. Understanding my roots, celebrating cultures, meeting new people, creating memories, finding tiny colourful corners, and watching the walls of cities tell different stories, all add to it!"

With over 13 years of experience, Govind Kamat is a skilled graphic designer and visualizer, proficient in all relevant software. He excels at bringing ideas to life through captivating visuals across different mediums like branding, advertising, and digital media. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, Govind consistently delivers impactful solutions that resonate with audiences.

Pooja Pawar is a storyteller – vivacious, creative, diligent, a thinker and dreamer in equal measure. She has honed her expertise in branding, marketing and communications. While she is carpe’ing diem and living every moment to the fullest, she is also romanticising and documenting life to create some fun content.

Namrata Gandhi is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Mumbai. She loves using art to tell stories that evoke emotions and communicate ideas in a meaningful and relatable way.

Avantika Sathaye is a skilled software developer with 14 years of experience in the industry. She is responsible for managing all technical aspects of our website. In addition to her work in software, Avantika has been studying Hindustani Classical Vocal Music since childhood and is now focused on taking her skills to a professional level.
